Highbury 2-Bed Condo

Amazing Location Positive: 2 minute walk to public transit. Ample grocery, bars, and restaurants nearby. Security camera right outside the door. The shower soap has such a lovely smell! Negative: The apartment could’ve used a thorough vacuum and wipe down on all surfaces. Several strands of hair, clumps of dust and cobwebs, and random, mystery sticky substances, were all missed by the cleaning process. We were only there two nights and spent majority of our days in the city, but I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying longer or spending more time in the apartment. The water heater was finicky during our visit. The host attempted to give some troubleshooting directions but majority of our showers remained icy. It’s unfortunate we were unable to access the balcony/terrace. The post was a little misleading. Our flight arrived early in the maybe around 10:00, we were under the impression we could leave our luggage at the property/ office/ lobby and officially check in later. We even confirmed this via message. Only to arrive and discover a private residence with no separate secured storage space, so we had to roll our belongings around for several hours. Overall it’s a nice unit, with great potential, in a prime location. It just could use a little TLC.

I would like a refund asap or I will make a personal complaint and take this to the papers Positive: I checked into the property but had to leave over the state of the room it was smelly and wasn’t fit for anyone to stay in the room I had 3 children and was not possible to stay as there’s cockroaches Negative: Filthy

Our stay was really good. Positive: Excellent Negative: N/A

Positive: Location! 2 minutes walk from the nearest tube station and restaurants and the venue where I was going. Negative: The hot water did not work in the bathroom most of the time, and could do with a refurbishment. I had the ring to work out how to get into the building which was not clear, and another person staying in the property helped to work out the smart lock feature.

Negative: Misinformation about stay. Asking for security Money about 3 times of the staying price which was not mentioned while booking.
